Care Package for Maelin!

We are starting to get a care package ready for when we receive our referral for Maelin (a bit early, but we want it ready to send to her as soon as we KNOW WHERE to send it to!!!)

• So far we have: a blanket that I made ages ago for her and have washed SEVERAL times,LOL!
• a family photo album, with pictures of her Mom and Dad, Nannies and Pappies, Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins,...and of her Poochies!
• We are going to add a couple of her toys (not sure which ones yet though)
• pajamas and maybe an outfit
• and something for her Nannies

If anyone one has any suggestions of anything to send, please let us know! We'd love some ideas!

Matching has begun!!!

The Rumour Queen has posted that matching has begun (reported to her by two agencies!)

We won't be in this batch ~ but hopefully in the next one!!!
"China adoption forecaster" still has us estimated as receiving our referral on April 29th!!!

Wow~ the light at the end of the tunnel is approaching!!!!

This is really starting to feel like it will finally happen, and Maelin will finally be coming home!

I’m seeing multiple agencies who are giving their clients the idea that the next two months could cover more days than we might be expecting them to cover.
I don’t have specific dates I can share, but if these agencies are correct then we’re looking at something around the Winter ‘08 column on the projections. Some agencies are slightly better, some are slightly worse - but all seem to be in that general time frame for the next two months.

Today is our 3 Year Anniversary...

Three years since our file has been in China!!!

If we said that the three years went fast...we'd be lying,...LOL!

Gracie Marie Turns Two!!! Oh what fun we had !!!

We went to our Nieces' second birthday party yesterday, and we were tuckered out by the end of it ~ just from watching the kids buzz around....(a sign of our old age!!! LOL!)

The kids had a blast and I'm sure that they had a good sleep too!!! (after the party was done, they were looking pretty tuckered out as well....)

Our best guess: 2009-04-29
(this is around where is was guessing, month wise for our referral), but I was hoping it would fall EARLIER in the month ~ but maybe it will change.....we'll see next month how far they get with the referrals. The suspense is driving us crazy again....
