Tiny Batch of Referrals...

The rumour is that referrals were done up to March 2nd...but we'll have to wait to hear from CFC to know for sure!!

That still puts us a little, tiny bit closer!!!

ANOTHER BATCH OF REFERRALS BEFORE CNY???

"Rumor Round Up
January 15th, 2009
I reported last night that we have rumors out there that matching has begun. Someone asked how long after that rumor until they arrive, and the answer is anywhere from two hours to two weeks.

I do not believe any TA’s for the most recent referral batch have arrived yet (someone please correct me if I’m wrong). I am aware that some TA’s arrived Tuesday for the early December referral group, and there are others from that group who still do not have their TA.

There is also a rumor about a cut off date, but it’s only coming from one place and it’s pretty fantastic at this point. If true then it would be better than any of the columns on my projections table. Even better than the good case scenario from back in 2006. I think we’ll put that one at an R1 at this point."

All I can say is that would be very exciting nrews, we're getting very close now!!!!Hoooray!!!!

15 days until our LID!!! Confirmed!!

Our facilitator~ Children from China, has confirmed today that there are only 15 days left until they reach our log in date...
OMG ~ It's going quick now!!! YIIIPPPEEEEE!!!

A Moment In Time
(To my Daughter, Maelin)
On a Monday afternoon, a hot and humid day,
A couple waited anxiously, for the child for which they did pray.

Not sure if or when this moment would ever arrive,
This couples hopes and dreams managed to survive.

On this afternoon, many other parents joined them in happy tears,
Also dreaming of this day for so many years.

Suddenly in the room there appeared two babies so wee,
One taken to a couple~
the other into a room, was that the baby meant for me?

My husband said, “I think that was Maelin”,
Our excitement quickly grew as the reality set in.

Moments later, a woman began approaching us.
Could this be our baby girl, for whom we’ve made such a fuss?

I do not recall this woman’s face, or any details of her,
For I was too focused on who she carried, everything else was a blur.

She placed you in my arms, smiled, then walked away,
My prayers were answered on this very day.

My husband told me later that there were many cries,
Of babies meeting their new parents, with tears in their eyes.

The room was filled with chaos, but this I do not remember,
For all I was able to see and hear was my darling baby girl, so tender.

The most beautiful almond eyes staring back at me,
A sense of love and completeness came over me.

So strong is the love for this child, that it will exist for all of eternity,

This moment in time will be in my heart, forever with me.
